A volunteer committee of E-Traderonline Members reviews all new complaints and the defendants' responses, to decide if the complaint should be posted to the Community. Complaints are never posted without both sides having a fair chance to tell their story.

E-Traderonline's code and complaint process is based on the twenty year old processes created by the former industry Trade Associations: Computer Dealers and Leasing Association (CDLA), Information Technology Resellers Association (ITRA), and Digital Dealers Association (DDA).
